Why Some People Heal What Shouldn't Have Healed

Why Some People Heal What Shouldn't Have Healed

After 23 years across multiple clinics, the cases that stand out most aren't the typical recoveries. They're the ones that look like worst-case scenarios and go completely against medical expectation.
A fully torn ACL that healed on its own. No surgery. No intervention. Confirmed by imaging.
An outlier? Yes.
But here's what I've seen: every case like that — every recovery the system said couldn't happen — had one trait in common.
Not technique. Not protocol. Not the right supplement.
An unwavering mind.
The body follows the mind that won't move. The mind that decides it's healing in the way it wants to heal — not the way the paradigm, the system, or the establishment said it had to.
That's the variable.
23 years of watching it. It's always there.
The science can describe it after the fact — vagal tone, neuroplasticity, the mind-body connection, placebo response. All real. None of it explains why it shows up in some patients and not others. The variable upstream of all the mechanisms is the same: a refusal to negotiate with the prognosis.
This is what I work with every day. The body is more capable than the textbook gives it credit for. But the body doesn't argue with the diagnosis. The mind does.
Something to think about.

I'll be sharing more of these — the cases that don't fit the model, the patients who heal what shouldn't have healed, the variable nobody measures.
