A Second Botanical Formula for Vector-Related Terrain
Crypto-Plus is the companion formula to BLt. It is also a liquid herbal extract, built around a different set of botanicals, including Cryptolepis. Researched Nutritionals describes it as "formulated by a physician and herbalist as a stand-alone or adjunctive support for vector-related issues."*
Who I Reach For This With
- Vector-related protocols where the practitioner wants a second botanical formula
- Relapsing, cyclical symptom pictures that need a longer protocol
- Patients whose practitioner has sequenced multi-phase botanical support
- People who tolerate liquids and want to dose up slowly, drop by drop
What Makes This Form Different
- A liquid tincture with a 200 mg proprietary herbal blend: Cryptolepis sanguinolenta, Lomatium dissectum, red root, black walnut hulls and stillingia
- Different herbs from BLt, so the two are separate tools rather than one overloaded formula
- Made with organic cane alcohol, which Researched Nutritionals calls the "preferred extraction process"*
- Uses a phospholipid delivery complex, which Researched Nutritionals describes as "peak absorption"*. Vegan and GMO-free
What Researched Nutritionals Says It Supports*
- Stand-alone or adjunctive support for vector-related issues*
- Balanced organ support and multi-organ support*
- Peak absorption through a phospholipid delivery complex*
- Superior herbal extraction using organic cane alcohol*
How It Fits Into a Protocol
Crypto-Plus sequences with or alongside BLt under practitioner direction. Gut-lining protection such as RepairVite and cytokine support such as CytoQuel commonly run in parallel during these protocols. Binder support is added where your practitioner wants it.
Frequently Asked Questions
BLt or Crypto-Plus?
They use different herbal blends. Which one, or both, and in what order, is a practitioner-level decision.
How long are these protocols?
Usually months, and cyclical dosing is common. Follow your practitioner's plan.
Who should check first?
Researched Nutritionals says not to use it while pregnant or nursing. It lists a possible Lomatium rash that can last up to three weeks. It also notes that Lomatium contains coumarin derivatives. If you take any medication that affects bleeding, check with your prescribing provider before adding this.
