Anovite says to take them on an empty stomach with 8 to 12 oz of water, at least 30 minutes before you eat or at least 45 minutes after you eat, and without other supplements. Anovite says colostrum has a half-life of 8 hours, so it recommends taking it two to three times a day. Anovite also says some people notice digestive upset, skin changes or flu-like feelings for a couple of days. If you are uncomfortable, cut back and increase slowly. If you cannot swallow capsules, Anovite says you can open one and mix it with a few tablespoons of yogurt, applesauce or other food.
I am lactose intolerant. Is this a problem?
