Apex Energetics Gastro-ULC™ (K29) — DGL, L-Glutamine & Mastic Gum Stomach Lining Support, 90 Tablets

For the Stomach That Burns, Not the Gut That Bloats

A lot of "gut" complaints are stomach complaints: burning after meals, that hollow ache between them, discomfort lying down. The lining is irritated, and the fix is to coat it, feed it, and settle what's living on it. Gastro-ULC does all three. Apex builds it on deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) and L-glutamine, with mastic gum, bismuth citrate, bioflavonoid-rich citrus extract, chlorella, gamma oryzanol, and Chinese rhubarb root, to support a healthy gastric lining, a healthy pH balance in the stomach, and healthy microbial balance there.*

Who I Reach For This With

  • Burning or gnawing stomach discomfort that tracks with meals or stress
  • Patients who've been on acid blockers and are working with their prescriber to come off them
  • Anyone whose stomach complaints flare under pressure, since Apex formulates it with stress in mind
  • As a follow-on after a stomach microbial-balance protocol

What Makes This Form Different

DGL on its own is a chewable that works for some people. Gastro-ULC adds L-glutamine for the lining, mastic gum and bismuth for the microbial side, and rhubarb root, in a tablet you swallow once a day. For stomach microbial balance specifically, H-PLR is the targeted Apex botanical; Pylori-Plex is the Douglas option. Gastro-ULC is the lining-and-comfort piece that runs alongside or after either.

How It Fits Into a Protocol

I use Gastro-ULC for 30 to 60 days, one tablet before the meal that bothers you most. If low stomach acid is the real problem, which it often is when burning and bloating show up together, HCL Pro-Zyme comes in only after the lining has had time to settle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it raise my blood pressure like licorice?
No. DGL has the glycyrrhizin removed, which is the part of licorice that affects blood pressure.

Why does the label warn about rhubarb root?
Rhubarb is a mild laxative at higher doses. Apex's note is to stop if you develop loose stools or abdominal pain, and to check with your physician if you have frequent diarrhea or are pregnant, nursing, or on medication.

Can I take it with an acid blocker?
Ask your prescribing provider. Many people use it while tapering under supervision.

Suggested Use: Take 1 tablet once a day, or as directed by your healthcare professional. 90 tablets per bottle.
